Our bar is the original 150+ year old bar, sympathetically updated with modern conveniences.  Sit at the bar, near the fire in the colder months, with a glass of something special and soak in the ambience.  Sunny afternoons out the front or in the beer garden are worth the trip, too.

Of course, we have the local popular beers – the locals would lynch us if we let that slide!  At the same time, we have a couple of taps featuring smaller Australian brewers and properly kegged Guinness, with a rotating tap that might have an Aussie classic or something new and interesting.

We have a broad selection of affordable Australian wine, with a few French and South American interlopers, and change up the line-up regularly in line with what’s affordable and the characters of the various vintages.  If it’s not too busy – or if you call ahead – you can explore the well-stocked convict cellar for a special bottle for an occasion or as a treat. We had three staff trained in WSET2 to make sure we know our stuff on the wine front.

As the Australian distilling scene explodes – there are over four hundred local distilleries now – we keep representing local distilleries that have excellent and interesting drops to explore.  Our whisky & gin collection is the best in the Midwest with the superstars of Scotland, Ireland, and Japan joining the locals to give you a top-shelf tasting experience.
